Laboratory Methods & Quality Control (ASTM D 6686)

Beta Analytic utilizes chemical methods as outlined in ASTM method D6686. The standard is available for download (for a fee) from the ASTM website (www.astm.org).

Quality Control measures at Beta Analytic are designed to ensure the accurate reporting of every result. Internal standards are run daily.

Multiple cross-checks (including bar-coding) are performed throughout each analysis. Internal and external controls are analyzed routinely to measure and monitor on-going laboratory accuracy and reproducibility.

Beta Analytic’s quality assurance program is audited annually by the Department of Energy for work done in previous years for the nuclear storage industry.
